We are seeking an individual to bring energy, enthusiasm, and experience to the role of Safe Routes to School Coordinator. Safe Routes to School is a statewide program funded through the NJ Department of Transportation with two simple goals: Where is it safe, get kids walking and bicycling; where it is not safe make it safe. The Safe Routes to School Coordinator will be responsible coordinating the Hunterdon County Safe Routes to School Program, which includes the participation of approximately twenty elementary/intermediate schools within Hunterdon County.

The Safe Routes to School Coordinator will have a passion for improving bicycle and pedestrian safety, experience working with school age children, be comfortable presenting in front of groups, and looking for hands-on work that will make a difference in the community.
