Hunterdon County Bike to Work Week will be held from May 13-17, 2019. This year’s free event coincides with national Bike Month promoted by the League of American Bicyclists. Bike to Work Week promotes bicycling as a commute alternative. The free annual event provides commuters with a fun and engaging opportunity to leave their cars behind and bicycle to work or a transit facility instead. Hunterdon County Bike to Work Week 2018 kicks off this week and will run through Friday, May 18, 2018.
This free annual event, coordinated by HART, provides local commuters with a fun opportunity to leave their cars behind and consider bicycling to work instead. Participation in Hunterdon County Bike to Work Week is open to anyone 18 years or older who lives or works in Hunterdon, or those who ride to a Hunterdon County transit facility or Park and Ride lot. Participants may ride as many days as they choose throughout the week. Routing assistance has been provided to those unsure of the best roads to travel to their worksite.
