goHunterdon is fortunate to benefit from the long-term commitment of the volunteer members of the Board of Directors. This continuity provides the organization with steady leadership and invaluable institutional knowledge.
goHunterdon recently recognized Board Member Ken Skowronek as he marked 30 years of serving as a member of the goHunterdon Board of Directors. Ken joined the Board in 1995—just one year after the organization, then known as Hunterdon Area Rural Transit, was incorporated.
He was practicing law in Flemington, actively involved in the Rotary Club, and serving on the Flemington-Raritan Board of Education. During this time, one of goHunterdon’s founding members approached Ken to lend his expertise to the newly formed transportation management association. Since then, Ken has served the organization with distinction. He has been a constant, dependable presence on the Board, offering insight and leadership, as well as his time, attention, and care.
