goHunterdon staff recently participated in two events aimed at promoting electric vehicle (EV) adoption within Hunterdon County. On September 28, staff took part in the Highlands Green Fair & Electric Vehicle Show, which was organized by the Green Teams from Clinton Township, the Town of Clinton, Readington Township, and the Clinton Township School District. On October 13, goHunterdon joined the New Jersey Electric Vehicle Association at the Hunterdon Land Trust Farmers Market for a special event in celebration of National Drive Electric Week.
At both events, goHunterdon staff shared valuable information about available state and federal incentives for purchasing electric vehicles and charging stations. They also engaged attendees in discussions about their current vehicles and gauged their likelihood of considering an EV purchase within the next five years.
