Hunterdon County Commissioner Zach Rich, who serves as the liaison to the Planning and Land Use Department, recently announced that work is underway to develop a countywide Local Safety Action Plan (LSAP). This plan will identify and prioritize transportation safety improvements aimed at reducing fatal and serious injury crashes on county and municipal roadways. goHunterdon is actively participating in the plan development process as a member of the Local Implementation Committee.

Nina is responsible for advancing the goals of Safe Routes to School Program: “Where it is safe, get more kids walking and bicycling; where it is not safe, make it safe.”
In her first few weeks with goHunterdon, Nina participated in several Back-to-School night events at Hunterdon elementary and intermediate schools to share information about the program with parents and guardians.

On October 13, goHunterdon joined the New Jersey Electric Vehicle Association at the Hunterdon Land Trust Farmers Market for a special event in celebration of National Drive Electric Week.
