Tara Shepherd, Executive Director
Tara Shepherd was named Executive Director in 1999. She is responsible for the administrative, management and programmatic operation of the organization. Prior to joining goHunterdon, Tara served as director of a downtown business improvement district in Millburn Township, NJ and as Director of Community Relations for the economic development agency in the City of Elizabeth, NJ. She has extensive experience in community development and nonprofit management. Tara holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Political Science from Rutgers University.
Diana Davis, Associate Director
Diana Davis joined goHunterdon in 1998. As Associate Director, Diana is responsible for day to day support and operations of the organization, grants administration, invoicing, bookkeeping and reporting as well as overseeing all program staff, goals and outcomes keeping projects on schedule and on budget. She is also a League Certified Instructor through the League of American Bicyclists.
Jeff Clayton, Chief Technology Officer
Jeff has been working with goHunterdon since 2009. He is responsible for maintenance of goHunterdon’s website, the framework behind goHunterdon’s traffic alert service (TAS), and cloud infrastructure which ensures business continuity to the organization. Jeff provides technical support to goHunterdon staff and programs. He has an extensive background in SQL, XHTML, CSS, Java Script, .NET programming as well as Adobe Photoshop. Jeff holds degrees in Business Management and Computer Information Systems from Brookdale Community College and DeVry University.
Ryan Fisher, Safety Programs Manager
Ryan joined goHunterdon in 2012. As Safety Programs Manager, Ryan provides technical assistance to municipalities and local police departments to improve roadway safety with a focus on bicycle and pedestrian safety. Ryan facilitates municipal walk and bicycle assessments, conducts speed studies, analyzes crash data, and assists with identification of funding and support grant applications for bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure improvements. Ryan works to encourage the adoption of local Complete Streets policies among Hunterdon municipalities. Ryan is a trained CarFit Technician, enabling him to increase driving safety for senior citizens. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Recreation Administration from Kean University.
Adriana Pasquale, Safe Routes Coordinator
Adriana Pasquale joined the staff as the Safe Routes to School Coordinator in July 2026. Prior to joining the team, she worked as a Paraprofessional with the Bernards Township Board of Education, providing individualized educational support to students with special needs. She also served as a Community Engagement Coordinator with AmeriCorps, where she led community outreach initiatives and helped increase program enrollment.
A resident of Raritan Township, Adriana holds a Bachelor of Science in Family Science and Human Development from Montclair State University.
Marina Bartelli, Healthcare Mobility Coordinator
Marina Bartelli joined the goHunterdon staff in 2021. Marina oversees goHunterdon’s Healthcare Access Transportation project which provides transportation for seniors to medical appointments. Prior to joining goHunterdon, Marina worked for the Hunterdon County Educational Services Commission, most recently as the Assistant Coordinator of adult education programs. Marina holds a Baccalaureate in Nursing, Rutgers University College of Nursing.
Mia Russo, Healthcare Mobility Coordinator
Mia Russo joined the goHunterdon staff in 2026 in support of goHunterdon’s Healthcare Access Transportation Program. As a Healthcare Mobility Coordinator, Mia facilitates Uber and Lyft rides for seniors and human services clients, ensuring they have reliable transportation to non-emergency medical appointments.
Mia holds an Associate Degree in Nursing from Raritan Valley Community College and brings valuable experience from her time as a perioperative aide and operating room nurse at St. Luke’s Bethlehem. After stepping away from nursing, Mia was eager to transition into a role that allows her to support the broader healthcare needs of the community in a new and impactful way.
Mayce Fleming, Program Associate
Mayce joined goHunterdon in 2026. As Program Associate, Mayce supports the delivery of goHunterdon’s Safety, Mobility, and Sustainability Programs under the guidance of Program Managers and Coordinators. Mayce assists in program delivery through fieldwork, events, presentations, public outreach, and information distribution. Mayce, a resident of West Amwell, is a graduate of The College of New Jersey where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, with a specialization in Nonprofit and Community Development. Mayce’s prior experience includes internships with Meals on Wheels of Mercer County and the Women & Families Ascending Association.
Heather Carman, Traffic Associate
Heather joined goHunterdon in 2017. She is responsible for monitoring road conditions and providing weekday traffic alerts to the public related to roadway incidents, congestion, construction, and weather impacts to road travel. Heather is a graduate of North Hunterdon Regional High School. Prior to joining goHunterdon, Heather worked for Chubb Insurance.
Jodi Bettermann, Sustainable Hunterdon Specialist
Jodi initially joined goHunterdon in 2020 as Environmental Education Coordinator and returned to the organization in 2023 to serve as Sustainable Hunterdon Specialist. Jodi leads goHunterdon’s public education and outreach efforts to promote electric vehicle (EV) and EV infrastructure adoption as well as the organization’s air quality programming. She provides assistance to Hunterdon municipalities and schools as they pursue certification under the statewide Sustainable Jersey program and coordinates the Sustainable Hunterdon Hub. Jodi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University.
Lani Diemicke, Bicycle Specialist
Lani joined the goHunterdon staff in 2024. An avid bicyclist and bicycling advocate, Lani promotes Hunterdon County as a bicycle tourism destination through social media and community outreach. She provides bicycling related program support to goHunterdon’s Safety Programs. Lani’s professional background includes various roles with WW International. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Services from Thomas Jefferson University.
Gabriela Bonnnavent, Community Engagement Specialist
Gabriela returned to goHunterdon on a per diem basis in December 2023. She supports goHunterdon’s “community engagement” efforts as part of a NJ Division of Highway Traffic Safety (NJDHTS) funded outreach and education effort to improve bicycle and pedestrian safety program. Gabriela is a well-known and “trusted community voice” within Hunterdon’s Latino community and provides valuable insight into how to best engage and increase safety for those who walk or bicycle as their primary form of transportation.
